"TungTao Resort" - The Nature's Echo

The name “Tung Tao” itself has a fascinating story to tell. According to the popular belief amongst the Tai Khampti community, “Tung” meaning “deep” and “Tao” meaning “Tortoise” signifies that there was a time when this deep water was home to the huge tortoises and giant mahseers and it is believed that it continues to be so, till day. The sightings of those tortoises and mahseers have certainly become rare, almost like they don’t exist anymore, unlike the old times but isn’t it “those rare sightings”, that a true nature lover actually seeks. The resort was named after the popular belief as it pays homage to the old times when man was an integral part of nature and the relationship between the two was pure. This place embraces the man’s desire to be a part of that peaceful and tranquil nature again, as one might say, some old fashioned things like fresh air, flowing water, lush green trees and sunshine are hard to beat. We at, “Tung Tao Resort” invite you to come join us and experience the joy of nature. Relax and unwind amidst the babbling water and lush greens and bring out the peace and wellness within you.
